FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO YOU NEED TO HAVE PLAYED LACROSSE BEFORE TO JOIN?

Of course not! Here at City of Stoke Lacrosse Club, we welcome members of all previous experience. Many of us ourselves joined without any prior knowledge of the game! Our experienced coaches can teach you all you need to know!

HOW MUCH DOES MEMBERSHIP COST?

We’re not big fans of mandatory anything, and we definitely won’t force anyone to sign a contract just to enjoy our club. That said, we still have a number of match-day costs to cover. This is why we have an initial joining fee and then run a 'Pay-to-Play' system for game days.

Membership Fee - £5

Pay-to-Play

Students - £2.50

Non-students - £5.00

DO I NEED MY OWN LACROSSE EQUIPMENT?

City of Stoke Lacrosse has an armoury of lacrosse kit, providing its members with all necessary equipment, including both men's and women's sticks and equipment, playing kit and coaching aids. If you continue the sport, we recommend that you purchase your own equipment, but the club will continue to support you until you make that leap!

HOW OFTEN DO YOU PLAY GAMES?

The lacrosse playing season is from September until Easter. The Women's first team plays league fixtures every Saturday afternoon, and the Men's once a month on a Sunday.

We also try to organise weekend friendlies throughout the summer months.
