Club Chairman, Treasurer
& Men's 1st Team Captain
Adam Footit
I've been a member of this club since it began in 2012, becoming men's captain in 2013 and club chairman in 2014.

As Chairman, my main roles include the day to day running of the club, finances and looking for ways to improve the club.

I am also the treasurer of The Lacrosse Foundation, the only charity dedicated to supporting and growing the game of lacrosse across Great Britain.

Women's Team Co-Captain & Club Welfare Officer
Lily Gray
I started playing Lacrosse as a beginner at Loughborough University, before then playing for their 2nd team and also coaching the beginners players myself. I then moved on to schools where I teach Maths most of the time and also have coached various school Lacrosse teams. I joined Stoke in 2023 after moving to the area and became women’s co-captain and welfare officer in the 24-25 season.
I love all that Lacrosse and its community gives and happy to do all I can to facilitate the running of the club so others can also benefit. I’ll do all I can from first aid or welcoming new members ensure the best wellbeing for all of our players.

Women's Team Co-Captain
Alice Akister
I joined Stoke lacrosse in 2020 when we had to train in groups of 6! I’ve made some amazing friends through the club over the years and am looking forward to getting stuck in as one of the captains for this season.
I love welcoming new players to the team, and sharing the experiences and knowledge I have gained from playing with a range of different teams. My aim for the season is to support everyone of different abilities and experience to get involved with this growing exciting sport.
I am also training to be a yoga teacher so I’m hoping to share the benefits of this with my teammates once I’m qualified!

Mixed Team Captain
Amy Rogers
I have been a member of Stoke since 2016 where I found my true addiction to lacrosse!
This club has allowed me to achieve so many things that I wouldn’t believe possible, such as playing for the North of England for 2 years and also playing on the Men’s squad for 2 seasons.
So what better way to start the 24/25 season than as Mixed Captain! I’m excited to see where this season takes us.
This club really supported my development from a complete newbie at lacrosse to who I am now and I will always encourage other people like this club has supported me.

Men's 2nd Team Captain

Tamsin Purchase
I joined the club in 2019 after moving to the Midlands, having first picked up the game at university in 2013. It was such a supportive and welcoming environment, and so had no issues coming back to the sport after a break of a few years.
My previous roles at this club have included Club Secretary and Women's Team Captain from 2021 to 2023.

I believe it is important to share the experiences and successes of our players, as well as try to maintain the fantastic relationship we have with other local Midlands teams promoting the fantastic sport that is Lacrosse.

Socials & Events Officer
Matt Nadin
I have been a member of this club since 2018, becoming Captain of the Men's team 2019-2021 and Welfare & COVID Officer in 2020.

Now, as the clubs new Socials & Events Officer, I will be bringing more regular socials for the club, hoping to make good use of our new club house at Stoke RUFC.
I hope to create an engaging and enjoyable experience which strengthens the sense of community and belonging within the club.
